Discrete structures are the theoretical basis of computer science; A mathematical foundation that makes you think logically; A prerequisite course to understand the fundamentals of programming. Students will be enabled to define mathematical structures and use them to model real-life situations. Also, for writing efficient algorithms/programs, a comparison of functions and relations with respect to their growth for large values of the input will be taught.
